Shelley Hendrix is a wife, mother, teacher, speaker, author, and television talk
show host. But more important than any role she fills, she is most grateful to
know beyond a shadow of a doubt that she belongs to and matters to the God who created her for Himself.
Recognizing her value, worth, significance, and security come directly as a
gift of God’s grace, and not of her own striving or self-effort, has dramatically changed
her life.
Shelley desires to pour her life into others that she might be used of God to
create hunger for God and His Word in as many lives as possible.
Shelley has taught Bible Studies and classes at FBC, Woodstock, GA since 1997
under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Johnny Hunt. She is a host of Atlanta
Live!-A Christian Talk Show on Atlanta's WATC TV 57. Shelley speaks at
various events nationally and internationally, and was also a contributing writer to “Secrets of Confidence”- a devotional book for women published by Barbour Publishing. Shelley's first
published book is entitled "On Purpose For A Purpose", and is based upon the
lives of Esther and Mordecai whose stories are found in the Old Testament.
Shelley is also a freelance writer and has been published with Randall House
Publishing.
Shelley is available for conferences, retreats, banquets, special events, and
more.
Shelley is honored to be married to her best friend, Stephen Hendrix, CADC,
Director of Clinical Programs for the HopeQuest Ministries Group, Inc.; A counseling
ministry to men and women struggling with life dominating issues such as drug
addiction, alcohol addiction, and sexual brokenness. They have three amazing
children (whom God uses to teach them much!) and travel from Atlanta, Georgia.
